FORAYS INTO NATURE 2
Too old to chain myself to trees or paddle down the Frankliin River in a kayak, my writing is increasing turning to draw attention to the ravages of climate change, habitat loss and species extinction. Work-in-progress manuscript 'A Network of Spiders' - somewhere between Cosy Mystery and Eco-Lit - is, hopefully doing just that.
Several years ago I wrote a story (creative non fiction) that looked at the changes that have taken place in Manly (NSW) since colonisation. It is clearly impossible to return to the idyllic land and seascape that was this peninsula on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour, but I can make sure it is not forgotten.
